Artistul este preocupat de o abordare proprie a reprezentării prin sublinierea pentru privitor a convenţiei artistice, înscriindu-se în continuarea lucrărilor sale anterioare, lucrări care se pot înscrie în cadrul curentului „bad“ paintings:

Figurile frontale şi hieratice, surprinse în activităţi cotidiene sau pozând în mod clasic dinaintea unui fundal decorativ, sunt redate totodată în manieră semi-naturalistă, voit stângace, conferind astfel o notă ludică şi nonşalantă existenţei hedoniste a personajelor sale din clasa de mijloc. Artistul nu îşi pune personajele să pozeze cu atribute ale statutului lor, ci cu motive precum pisica de argint şi crocodilul, care revin ca laitmotiv în pictura sa şi care trebuie de această dată anihilate.

Ambiguitatea de sensuri reiese, de asemenea, din titlul unora dintre lucrări, cum este Godess – femeia hieratică mâncând french fries sau respectiv Șofer de autobuz, căsătorit, tată a trei copii – un portret de bărbat în ipostaza de măcelar a trei crocodili.

The artist is concerned with a personal approach of representation by emphasizing, artistic conventions, enrolling in continuing his previous works, that can be considered part of the current “bad“ paintings :

The front and hieratic figures, caught in their daily activities or posing classically in front of a decorative background, are shown also in a semi - naturalistic manner, deliberately clumsy, giving a playful and nonchalant touch to the hedonistic existence of his middle class characters. The artist doesn’t make his characters pose with the attributes of their status, but with motifs such as the silver cat and the crocodile, which return as a leitmotiv in his paintings and which must, this time, be annihilated.

The ambiguity of meaning is also apparent from the title of some works, such as Godess - the hieratic woman eating french fries or, respectively, Bus driver, married, father of three kids - the portrait of a man in the stance of a butcher of three crocodiles.
